How Advisory Committees Connect
- Advisory committees connect to the Board of Directors through the committee chairs, who serve on the board and can both advocate for the positions of their committee and submit formal recommendations to the board of directors on governance items.
- Advisory committees connect to staff through staff directors who who sit on those committees, drive agenda items between meetings, and bring guidance and decisions to the staff level.
