At our November meeting, there was a long discussion about our need to attract and retain good staff. Since then, we’ve taken the following steps.
- Nicole approved staff holiday bonuses totaling $20,000 - this was a first for the organization.
- A handful of key staff received performance-based raises connected to annual reviews.
- We’ve made some tweaks to job postings, shifting towards more of a marketing mindset vs. a straightforward role description.
