Meeting was called to order at 5PM.
Present: Jon Thorngate, Pete Wautlet, Jason Cobb, Paul Veldhouse, Jesse Adams, Dave Anderson
4:30 - Dave Anderson presented his thoughts on the following:
- Profile of the next State Director
- Affiliate vs. Subsidiary Partnership
5:00- Dave Anderson left the call.
5:01 - Jesse Adams made a motion to approve the minutes, as written. 2nd by Jason Cobb. Motion passed unanimously.Motion passed unanimously.
5:03 - Paul Veldhouse proposed the following slate of officers for 2024:
- Paul Veldhouse, President
- Pete Wautlet, Vice President
- Jason Cobb, Treasurer
- Jesse Adams, Secretary
2nd by Jason Cobb. Motion passed unanimously.
5:05 - The Board debriefed the conversation wtih Dave Anderson, and discussed next steps towards posting a hire. Specifically, the board discussed the connection between Christian faith and the work of Safe Families for Children.
- Jon agreed to follow up with a draft of a job description.
